AT&T does not offer an official grace period on wireless bills. Your payment is due on the due date, and a late fee can be added once you pass it.
You can still buy yourself time. A payment arrangement keeps your service on while you pay a few days later.
Does AT&T wireless have a grace period?
No. AT&T does not publish a set number of days you can pay late without a penalty.
The bill is due on the date printed on it. After that, a late fee can apply and your account starts heading toward suspension.

What happens if you pay your AT&T bill late?
First, AT&T adds a late fee to your account. The amount depends on your state and your balance, so check your bill or the AT&T late fee page for your exact number.
If the balance stays unpaid, AT&T can suspend your wireless service for nonpayment.

Does AT&T warn you before shutting off service?
Yes. AT&T sends a text and email reminder when your payment is due or past due.

Paying by the due date is the easiest way to skip the late fee and everything after it.
How do you keep your service from being shut off?
Set up a payment arrangement before the due date. It commits you to pay on a later date you pick, and it keeps your service on in the meantime.
One thing it does not do is erase the late fee. If your payment posts after the due date, a late fee can still apply.

- Go to your bill or account balance.
- Look for Payment arrangement (sometimes shown as Make a payment arrangement).
- Pick the later date and a payment method, then confirm.
One warning: once a payment arrangement date is set for after your due date, you cannot change or cancel it. So pick a date you can actually hit.
How to restore AT&T service after a suspension
Pay your full past due balance. A partial payment usually will not lift the suspension.
Service normally comes back within about five minutes after the full payment posts.
