After almost a year of daily wear in my family, the Oura Ring 4 is worth it for most people, and the best moment came the day it warned us a cold was coming. It is comfortable, the tracking is accurate, and the battery lasts up to 8 days. The two downsides are the $349 starting price and the monthly membership.

One morning the Oura app told my daughter her body looked like it was working harder than normal. She felt completely fine.

That early warning is a feature called Symptom Radar. It watches your resting heart rate, heart rate changes, breathing rate, and body temperature while you sleep. When those numbers drift, it flags that your body may be fighting something, up to two days before you feel it.
